MemoTrip Promise: your places stay yours. Ads and trackers are off until you consentGDPR.

2. What we collect
- Places & visits: locations you save or paste, labels, and notes. Stored on-device and—if you enable it—in iCloud.
- Consent & preferences: choices for ads, analytics, notifications.
- Device diagnostics: app version, OS, crash logs (aggregated) to keep MemoTrip reliable.
- Purchases: subscription status from Apple. We never see full payment details.
- Ads (optional): only after consent, AdMob may use identifiers per their policy.
3. How we use data
- Provide core features (save, organize, and display your trips).
- Verify and manage subscriptions and free trials via Apple.
- Measure performance and fix bugs.
- Show ads only after consent; otherwise ads/SDKs remain disabled.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract: provide the Services you requested.
- Legitimate interests: security, debugging (balanced with your rights).
- Consent: precise location, analytics/ads, notifications.
- Legal obligation: records we must keep.
5. Ads, consent & tracking
- AdMob SDK is not initialized and ads are not loaded until you give consent.
- If consent is withheld, we do not initialize or load ads.
- You can change your choice anytime in Settings.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Limited sharing with:
- Apple: billing and crash diagnostics.
- Google AdMob: only if you consent to ads/personalization.
- Service providers: hosting/support bound by data-processing agreements.
- Legal/compliance: when required by law.
7. International transfers
When data is moved outside your region, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it.
9. Your rights
- Access, rectify, delete.
- Withdraw consent; object or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability; complain to your data protection authority.
10. Children
Not directed to children under 13 (or local equivalent).
11. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures aligned with platform best practices. No method is 100% secure.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in-app.
